Chojugaoka Park

Chojugaoka Park is situated on a hillside in Aso City’s Kario area, embraced by the expansive outer rim mountains of Aso. From this elevated spot, visitors can look out over peaceful rural landscapes below. The park features gently sloping terrain covered with green lawns, offering an unobstructed view of the sky above. On clear days, distant mountain ranges come into view, providing a dynamic perspective of Aso’s varied topography.

The park’s main feature is its grassy slopes overlooking both the outer rim mountains and surrounding farmland, where the ridgelines formed by Aso’s mountains fill the horizon. Inside the park, the green lawn harmonizes with seasonal plants, creating a variety of colors throughout the year.
