Ikitsuki Sunset Way

Ikitsuki Sunset Way is a coastal route along the west shore of Ikitsuki Island in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Stretching about 10 kilometers, this road features minimal traffic signals, allowing for an uninterrupted drive. The route offers views of ocean breezes and the sound of waves as one travels along the shore.

The coastline is marked by steep cliffs and rugged rock formations set against the deep blue waters of the East China Sea. With very few man-made structures along the way, the area provides wide panoramic views without obstructions.

Visitors can drive or ride motorcycles through the route, or stop at designated viewpoints along the way. These spots provide opportunities to pause and observe the surrounding geological features and sea.
