Kyoseki Park (Giant Stones Park)

Kyoseki Park, located along the mountain trails in Umeno, Yamato Town, Saga City, offers a hiking course that takes advantage of the natural slopes and terrain. The park is surrounded by lush greenery, where visitors walk step by step on paths suited for active footwear like sneakers, passing through clear air and sunlight filtering through the trees.

Within the park, numerous giant stones and rocks stand well above human height, allowing close observation of these naturally formed shapes. Each large stone has been given a name, and walking while paying attention to these names is one way to experience the trail. The hiking route is also bordered by seasonal plants and trees, providing changing scenery throughout the year, accompanied by the sounds of rustling leaves and birdsong.
