Nagatare Seaside Park

Nagatare Seaside Park is located along the coast of Imajuku in Fukuoka City’s Nishi Ward, beside the waters of Hakata Bay. The park features a combination of green spaces and sandy beaches where visitors can enjoy views of the sea and the sounds of gentle waves. On clear days, many people gather here to experience the coastal environment.

Within the park, a well-maintained lawn area is situated adjacent to a calm sandy shoreline. Visitors can easily step down to the water’s edge where the waves lap at the shore. Families often spread out picnic sheets on the grass, while others sit quietly on benches scattered throughout the park, facing the sea.

During the daytime, sunlight reflects off the surface of the water, creating a sparkling effect under the blue sky. Walking along the beach while listening to the rhythm of the waves, or strolling through the park in the sea breeze, are common activities.
