Nagushiyama Park

Nagushiyama Park is located in Nagushiyama, Shikamachi, Sasebo City, offering a view from the hillside that extends over the surrounding landscape. From the summit, it is possible to see islands such as Kitakujukushima and Hirado floating in the sea. The park presents a landscape where the sea meets the mountain slope.

In spring, the appearance of the mountainside changes markedly with azaleas in pink and red covering the slopes, creating layers of color along with the green trees and the blue sea. This vibrant display of colors attracts many visitors during the season.

The park features facilities that take advantage of the sloping terrain, allowing for various ways to enjoy the area. There is a roller slide where children and parents can be seen sliding down the hillside, as well as a campground where visitors can stay and watch the changing scenery as time passes, including during early morning and evening hours.
