The Unzen Ropeway, located in Unzen, Obama Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, operates two gondolas that slowly ascend the gentle slopes of the Unzen mountains. As the gondolas gain altitude, passengers can observe unobstructed views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

The appearance of the landscape changes with the seasons. In spring, vivid azaleas color the mountainsides. Summer brings lush green foliage, while autumn showcases a gradient of autumn leaves. Winter offers scenery of frost-covered branches shimmering in white.

At the summit station, there is an observation deck that provides a panoramic view of the area. Visitors gather there to take in the clear atmosphere and observe the distant landscapes among the mountains.
