Udo Jingu Shrine

Guests receive a small earthenware ball inscribed with the character for luck and attempt to toss it into a hollow on the back of a turtle-shaped rock called “Kameishi” below the cliff. If your ball lands perfectly in the hollow, it is said that your wish will come true—a joyous spectacle that draws cheers from onlookers with every successful toss.
