Morikirara Zoo and Botanical Garden

Morikirara Zoo and Botanical Garden is located in a natural setting in Funakoshi Town, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Opened in 1961, the expansive grounds are surrounded by greenery and offer clear air, making the site suitable for leisurely walks away from daily routines.

The garden is home to over 300 animals and around 20,000 plants, displaying various species and vibrant flora throughout the seasons. The large area changes its appearance with the time of year, attracting visitors both on weekdays and weekends.
